FOR MOM’S ONLY
Leo Burnett CHICAGO
The workplace hasn't always valued working moms, leading new parents to leave the industry at an alarming rate. At Leo Burnett, we recognized that to show these moms that we truly valued their work/career, while also understanding and supporting their new role as a parent, we had to make some changes around the office.
One big physical change was the addition of a "Mothers Lounge.” It is a space for breastfeeding moms to step away in private (without having to worry about booking a room or squeezing into a bathroom stall to pump) and a community lounge for new parents to meet and support each other, share stories/photos, and lift each other up in the workplace. It's also equipped with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, parenting library, and dozens of lockers.
In 2018, "Working Mother" magazine put it at the top of their list of the "Most Impressive Company Lactation Lounges in the US."
